Rather than centring around a single venue or format, Pair’d is built as a journey. Events are layered across afternoons and evenings from Thursday to Sunday, leaving mornings free to explore the region at your own pace. It’s a rhythm that allows you to immerse yourself fully while still enjoying everything the region has to offer. 

A program shaped by wine 

At its core, Pair’d is designed through a sommelier’s lens. Every experience is built and curated around the wines of the Margaret River Region, with food, setting and format thoughtfully layered to complement what’s in the glass.

How the Pair’d program unfolds 

Pair’d runs from Thursday to Sunday, with events designed to be enjoyed alongside the region rather than in isolation. The format is flexible by design, allowing you to build a festival itinerary that suits how you like to travel. 

The key event styles at Pair’d 

Icon Events 
These are the experiences that define the festival. Set in some of the Margaret River Region’s most striking locations, Icon Events transform beaches, forests and vineyards into immersive, one-off moments. They bring together wine, food and setting in ways that feel elevated yet effortless. 

Tasting Events 
Tasting festivals and events are a cornerstone of the Pair’d program. From focused global varietal explorations to broader tasting journeys, these events offer a deeper understanding of the region’s wines in a relaxed, considered environment. They’re designed for both seasoned wine lovers and those looking to learn more. 

Origin Events 
Origin Events are created in partnership with local businesses and hosted at venues across the region. Each is exclusive to Pair’d and designed as a one-off experience, offering a chance to see familiar places through a different lens during the festival weekend. 

Wine Dinners 
Wine dinners bring together acclaimed chefs and leading regional vineyards for intimate, thoughtfully paired evenings. These long-table experiences are generous, social and grounded in the region’s produce and wines, with conversations that linger well beyond the final course. 

Getting around during Pair’d 

To make the festival easy to navigate, Pair’d buses operate for select events, with pick-up and drop-off points located across the region. This allows you to relax into the experience and enjoy the festival without worrying about logistics. Bus information is provided alongside eligible events when building your itinerary.
