Ciarán Bagchus
Ciarán brings a thoughtful, engaging approach to wine, combining deep knowledge with an instinct for warm, intuitive service. Now Senior Sommelier at the two Michelin-starred Bonheur by Matt Abé in Mayfair, he has worked across some of London’s most respected dining rooms, including Pied à Terre and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, where he developed a refined understanding of wine pairing, cellar management and guest experience.
Irish by birth, Ciarán first discovered his passion for regional wine and cuisine while studying theology in Valladolid, Spain. Since then, his career has been shaped by a love of travel, culture and gastronomy - from local markets to Michelin-starred dining rooms. A WSET Level 3 sommelier, award-winning wine list curator and former Emerging Talent in Wine nominee, he brings warmth, precision and genuine enthusiasm to every glass he pours.
