Dylan Arvidson

Dylan has been in the wine industry since he was 15 years old. Starting with pruning, picking and general vineyard work on the weekends and school holidays before enrolling in Oenology at Charles Sturt University directly out of school. 

In 2009, after completing 5 vintages in New Zealand, Victoria and Canada, he moved to Margaret River to work with Mark Messenger at Juniper Estate. In 2012 he joined Cape Grace Wines as the Winemaker, using time off between vintages to work in France and Italy as a winemaker in large wineries before founding LS Merchants in 2015. Running this the LS winery, vineyard and cellar door is now his full-time role. While he is well versed in the classic wines of Western Australia, Dylan has a keen interest in alternate grape varietals and winemaking techniques.
