"Jonathan Whittle is the Head Chef of London’s globally acclaimed St. JOHN Smithfield—the iconic "mothership" of the modern nose-to-tail dining movement. One of an unbroken line of Chef's reaching back to Fergus himself, he is driven by a lifelong admiration for the restaurant’s foundational approach to food, Jonathan joined the St. JOHN kitchen in 2018. Over six years, he deeply immersed himself in the venue's distinct, ingredient-led culture before being appointed Head Chef of the flagship location in 2024.
