Katia Taschetti

Originally from Umbria, Italy, Katia moved to Australia in 2011 to complete a Master’s in Advertising at RMIT and has worked across hospitality ever since, including Gill's Diner in Melbourne and Restaurant Amuse in Perth. Since 2014, she is a co-owner of Threecoins & Sons and Testun Bar in Mount Lawley, leading operations while remaining hands-on in front-of-house and wine.

In recent years, her longstanding passion for wine has evolved into a dedicated pursuit of education, industry involvement and professional development, with a growing focus on integrating wine more menaningfully into her career.

She was a recipient of the 2025 Sommeliers Australia Education Scholarship and has since served as a WA Committee Member of the Association for which she hosts blind tastings and educational events. She is currently undertaking her WSET Diploma in Wine.
