Nicky Sandover

Nicky Sandover is a coastal singer/songwriter with a passion for surfing, travel and sustainable living, from Margaret River in West Australia. Picking up the guitar from a young age and playing it somewhat incessantly has resulted in a lot of her songwriting being based around riffs and melodies created from the guitar.

After clocking up plenty of kilometres travelling between Perth and the South West, along with two east coast tours and a number of shows across WA’s far north west, Nicky released her debut EP ‘Ocean Dreamer Gypsy’ in February of 2017. The EP took a different direction to Sandover’s previous releases with a strong coastal, folk vibe that is more reflective of the lifestyle that she enjoys. The new direction was positively received with ‘Orange Tree’ being nominated by WAM for Song of the Year in the Folk category and the music videos for releases ‘Wild Child’ and ‘Ocean Dreamer Gypsy’ being widely shared across social media, along with local radio support.

Nicky is currently writing her second EP and enjoying sharing her craft at weddings and events. She offers live music, DJing and MCing.
