Rosheen Kaul
Rosheen is an award-winning author, chef, and food personality. The former head chef of Etta, Gourmet Traveller’s Victorian Restaurant of the Year, and a columnist for Good Food and the Guardian, Rosheen is an influential force among Australia’s culinary and food media heavyweights. Her approach to cooking celebrates her unique Asian heritage through Australia’s bountiful seasonal produce.
Rosheen’s impressive portfolio of curated and private dining experiences includes collaborations with Spotify, LANDMARK by Lexus at the Melbourne Cup, the Australian Open, and TOM Organics.
In 2022, Rosheen published her first cookbook, Chinese-ish, to widespread international acclaim, winning a World Gourmand award and a highly prestigious James Beard Media Award. Her second cookbook is due for release in July 2025.
Rosheen has appeared extensively on screen, radio, and in print media as a guest chef on Masterchef Australia, The Cook Up with Adam Liaw, Good Food Kitchen, and as a co-host for Melbourne Food and Wine and Rare Medium. She regularly features on Broadsheet and Good Food.
