Ngilgi Reverie
An unforgettable sensory journey set in one of Western Australia’s most extraordinary caves.
Your afternoon begins at 2:30pm with a guided walk and cultural storytelling led by Wadandi custodian Josh Whiteland, offering a deep connection to the land through shared knowledge and tradition. From there, enjoy a native-inspired aperitivo hour on the decking of Ngilgi Cave, featuring bushfood canapés and a glass of Margaret River wine selected from a list thoughtfully curated by acclaimed wine writer Erin Larkin.
Descend into the ancient limestone chambers of Ngilgi Cave, a breathtaking natural amphitheatre over two million years in the making. There, your underground journey begins with the powerful sound of the didgeridoo, performed by Josh Whiteland to honour Country and set the tone.
Then, experience a once-in-a-lifetime performance by soprano and Italian cookbook author Silvia Colloca, whose soaring vocals will echo through the cave - a performance that weaves together voice, land, and story in perfect harmony.
