From the age of ten, Ellin aspired to become a winemaker. She was fascinated by the idea of blending science and art in a practical job. In 2010, she completed a double degree in winemaking, viticulture and agribusiness.

Ellin began working in wine production from 2010 onwards and has completed vintages both locally and internationally; in Canada, Provence, Alsace, and Napa Valley.  After gaining this experience, Ellin knew that she wanted to immerse herself in the Margaret River wine industry and joined the team at Fraser Gallop Estate in 2017.

“Every time I travelled to work overseas, something always pulled me back to Margaret River. We have such a unique industry here, and are surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Fraser Gallop Estate, nestled in the heart of Wilyabrup, offers the pure joy of crafting wines that are truly distinctive and provide transparency between the vineyard and what we see in the glass. I’m incredibly excited about the future of this region, and particularly, this estate.”
