Joel Valvasori
Lulu’s co-founder Joel Valvasori, has had a career in top Australian restaurants spanning over 20 years.
Since taking his first Head chef role in 2008, Valvasori has received critical acclaim nationally for his work and influence in both Melbourne and Perth dining scenes, culminating in becoming the WA Good Food Guide Chef of the year in 2021.
Late 2016 saw the opening of Valvasori’s first solo venture and Perth’s first dedicated premium pasta restaurant, Lulu La Delizia. Since opening, Lulu’s has gone on to achieve critical acclaim and continually be at the forefront of Australian dining. In 2022 Valvasori helped steer his team to win WA Restaurant of the year in both the WA Good Food Guide and Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guides.
