Born and raised in Hong Kong, Chef ArChan Chan’s love for food was sparked in her grandmother’s kitchen, where cooking was a way to connect and nurture. What began as childhood nostalgia blossomed into a celebrated culinary career spanning over a decade across Australia and Singapore.
With formative stints in top restaurants like Attica and under Andrew McConnell in Melbourne, ArChan developed a distinctive style rooted in technique, seasonality, and story. Now Head Chef at Ho Lee Fook in Hong Kong, she is redefining modern Cantonese cuisine and was named a Tatler Hong Kong Local Champion in 2022. Her cookbook Hong Kong Local is both a tribute to her roots and a love letter to her hometown’s culinary spirit.
