Max Veenhuyzen

Max Veenhuyzen is a food, drink, and travel journalist and photographer based on Whadjuk Nyoongar country in Perth, Western Australia. For two decades, Max has been capturing and writing about the good things in life, regularly contributing to key Australian publications including Gourmet Traveller, Good Food, and Broadsheet.

Beyond his journalism, Max is also a DJ and the founder of Armour & Haloes, a food and music think tank established in 2019 to explore and celebrate the intersection of food and music. Under the Armour & Haloes banner, Max has thrown parties across Perth and around Australia, blending his passions for culinary and musical experiences.

He’s excited to bring some of that energy to the Margaret River Region for Pair’d, promising a unique fusion of food, music, and celebration.
